![]() ![]() I'll let you know how I get on and post some results here too but just wondered if anyone else has used their AW unit for something similar? The AW was a pain having to import with CD but this AW2400 with USB is perfect! Also having balanced +4dbu outputs is a must which this also has I started thinking about my old AW4416 and how great it would be to use as a live desk whilst playing back the backing tracks on individual tracks (not just a stereo track) and mixing each song ready to play live. The new guy likes to use backing tracks (which I've never really been a fan of) but the quality of the backing he has is brilliant! He's been ripping stuff from games like rock band and guitar hero to get multitracks of popular songs, arranging in logic and we've been playing over the top. I run a very modern setup (Behringer X18, Logic X 10.6.1 and an M1 Macbook) which I use for recording but started a new project for when things open up again to start a new duo (acoustic guitars and singing). I've seen the gripes others have with aux sends being on rotaries rather than the faders (as the AW4416 did) but other than that it seems great! ![]() Previously I've owned an AW4416 (two in fact), an 01X, an 01V and an 03D so firing up this bad boy and navigating was easy! New here but just grabbed myself an AW2400 including flight case that's basically mint for £320! ![]()
